

Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Jose deBrito and Auriliana (Almada) deBrito, he was a lifelong resident of the city.
He proudly served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Corporal. He was the recipient of the World War II Victory Medal.
Mr. DeBrito studied at the Swain School of Design. He had a successful career as a sign painter and worked for Beaumont Signs, Poyant Signs and Mars Bargainland.
Aguinaldo was a talented painter who specialized in canvas painting.
He is survived by two sons, Robert DeBrito and his companion Deborah Dias of Dartmouth and Brian DeBrito and his wife Elizabeth of E. Freetown; his sister, Lillian Britt of RI; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one deceased great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Judith Cobb, and son Wayne DeBrito and his brother, Joe DeBrito.
Funeral services will be private.
