Born in Acushnet, a daughter of the late Manuel and Ana (Araujo) Cashiero, she was a resident of Lakeville for most of her life. Anna was employed as a Nurse’s Aide for 30 plus years, retiring in 2001. Family was everything to Anna, she cherished her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to Portugal, working in the garden, knitting, sewing and was the best cook.
Anna is survived by her children, Manuel J. Dias of Lakeville and Anna F. DeMoranville and her husband Wallace of Lakeville; her grandchildren, Domingos Dias and his fiancé Brooke Lopes and Antonio Dias and his companion Brianna Butler, Wallace D. DeMoranville Jr. and Zulmaria and John DeMoranville; her great great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Levi Dias and her little buddy Kennedy and several nieces and nephews; and her loving pet Pete Dias. She was the mother of the late John M. Dias Jr and sister of the late Antonio Cashiero, Sylvia Sylvia and Zulmira Cashiero.
