Cindy P. Coelho

Born in Serraquinhos, Montalegre, Portugal, a daughter of the late Miguel and Joaquina (Pinto) Bogalhas.

She and her husband lived in Acushnet then moved to Springhill, Florida for 17 years and returned to Dartmouth last year.

Mrs. Coelho had worked as a stitcher at Eastern Sportswear and Grinnell Pajamas until her retirement.

Cindy enjoyed sewing, crocheting and baking in her leisure time. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandkids, who were her pride and joy.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Maryann Swift and her husband Michael of E. Sandwich and Pamela Patenaude and her husband John of Dartmouth; four grandchildren, Maranda, Logan, Caleb, and Mason; her siblings, Joe Pinto of CT, Alice Riquinha, Albina Borges, Nancy Raposo of Springhill, FL, Americo Miranda of Orlando, FL, and Debbie Mahan of Fairhaven; and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 9:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Main St., Fairhaven. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cindy’s memory to Southcoast Hospice or Cancer Center, 200 Mill Rd., Fairhaven, MA 02719.
