On January 26, 2019 Liselotte Casey lost her beloved son, Daniel Joseph Casey, age 59. He passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Acushnet, MA. He was the son of the late Daniel P. Casey and Lisotte (Gress) Casey. Born in Amberg, Germany he was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School. Mr. Casey was disabled. He enjoyed eating out and going to the casinos.
In addition to his mother he is survived by an Aunt, Christl Gress of Amberg, Germany, four cousins; Roy Veara and family of New Bedford, Sebastian Gress, Renate Bruknner and her husband Helmut, Roswitha all of Amberg, Germany, Hady Popovic and family and his good friends; Donald and Diane Lafond , Kathleen and Jim Gallant and his friends at the Acushnet VFW.
His Funeral Mass will be held Thursday January 31, 2019 at 10am at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 125 Main Street, Acushnet. Everyone is invited to meet directly at the church.
