You could find Dave at Honey Dew Donuts, Burger King and the mall. He traveled by bus, loved his dogs and always walked with Jesus.
He is survived by his three sisters, Ginny (Virginia) Fernandes of New Bedford, Lisa Fernandes of Fall River and Danielle Hickney of California; one brother, James Hickney and wife Linda of New Bedford; three nieces, Dawn Fernandes, Amy Bolarinho and Jennifer Hickney; two nephews, Buck Fernandes and Nathan Hickney; two great nephews, Caise Oliver and Darryn Fernandes; one great niece, Olivia Bolarinho; his uncle Richard Hickney and wife Lynne of Dartmouth; and many first cousins and extended family.
For all the angels out there who gave Dave a ride, a helping hand, a smile, who took the time to know him….We thank you from our hearts.
