Born in Swansea, David lived in Fairhaven most of his life. He worked locally as a welder and was a member of the Sprinkler and Pipefitter’s Union.
Survivors include his daughter Katherine An Ilsley and her finace Aaron of Boston. He was the brother of the late Ernest Ilsley Jr.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 5-7pm at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA followed by a prayer service at 7 pm. Burial will be private.
