Mrs. Dolores E. Brissette

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Laurent and Elmina (Hebert) Dupont. Dolores was employed as a laundry attendant for 15 years at the Sacred Heart Home, retiring in 2000. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren;Christmas and anything Santa Clause. She was an avid collector of porcelain dolls and crafting.

Dolores is survived by her children, Diana Brissette of New Bedford, Jeannette Ferus and her husband Michael of Acushnet, Leo Brissette of Dartmouth and Norman Brissette of Fall River; her siblings, Rhea St. Onge of West Yarmouth and Irene Seguin of Fairhaven; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Normand and Roger Dupont, Marguerite Brasseur, Rita Young and Annette Pelletier.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00PM in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745. Her Funeral Mass will be on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00AM in St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd, New Bedford. Burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
