Born on Valentine’s Day in Acushnet, a daughter of the late Stephen and Anne (Joyce) Fortier she was a lifelong area resident.
Ms. Perry worked as a presser and later as a floor lady for Manley Manufacturing. She enjoyed to cooking delicious food and feeding those she loved. Eileen loved dancing, spending time with children, grandchildren and going to Foxwoods.
Every weekend and one week in July, Eileen would load up her car, pick up her grandchildren, and drive to Knight and Look Camp Ground in Rochester. They created very happy memories over the years.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home and Beacon Hospice for their compassion and care provided to Eileen over the years.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Bandarra of New Bedford, a son, Robert Perry of Fairhaven; two grandchildren, Kim Arruda and her husband Louis of New Bedford and Kris Cambra and her husband William, Sr. of Dartmouth; four great grandchildren, Sarah Arruda, Jessica Arruda, William Cambra, Jr., and Kevin Cambra; three great great grandchildren; a sister, Charlotte of FL; Freddie’s son, Richard Protin of FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Grace, Dorothy, Stephen, Leonard, Richard and Mary.
