Born in New Bedford, she spent most of her life in New Bedford. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, bingo, keno, playing cards and cooking.
She is survived by five children: Linda Fluegel of Shallotte, NC, Brenda Lang of Bluffton, SC, Debra Snurkowski of New Bedford, Clayton Coleman of New Bedford and Gerald Coleman of Zephyrhills, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Coleman was also the mother of the late Diane Cusson-Maddox.
