Harry Elmer Proule

Harry Elmer Proule, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 29, 1949, in Bridgewater, MA, Harry was the cherished son of the late Elmer and Freda (Dubord) Proule. He was a graduate of Bridgewater High School.

Harry was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Era. Following his military service, he was a hardworking laborer for the City of New Bedford, where he dedicated many years of his life.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his two daughters, Almalee Zarate and Kelly Pacheco, and two sons, Michael Proule and Eric Neilson. Harry was a devoted grandfather to Austin, Damien, Devin, Alex, Kaitlin, Lauren, Bianca, Kiri, Trinity, Michael Jr, and Silas, and was blessed with several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his former wife, Sally (Tuholski) Proule.

A simple man at heart, Harry was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing. He was a huge fan of Star Trek and enjoyed sharing cocktails with friends. Above all, he loved his family deeply and cherished the moments spent with them.

Harry Elmer Proule will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
