Jeffrey Michael Eldridge

Jeffrey "Jeff" Eldridge passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of 48 due to injuries sustained from a car accident. Born in Westerly, RI on November 19,1975, Jeff moved to New Bedford with his family at the age of 3 and has been a lifelong resident ever since.

Jeff's battle with his injuries in recent weeks showed his courage in facing life's challenges. Despite the pain, Jeff came out a hero and remained strong until the very end.

As a child, Jeff enjoyed playing video games with his brothers. He was a graduate of New Bedford High School where he was a member of the JROTC.

Jeff was predeceased by his father, Robert Eldridge, Sr., grandparents Clayton & Marion Cornell and Clifford & Mae Eldridge, his niece Althea Eldridge, and triplet nieces Samantha, Kathryn and Shannon Eldridge.

Jeff is survived by his mother Judy Eldridge of New Bedford, his siblings Robert Eldridge, Jr. and his wife Julie, Clifford Eldridge, and Lisa Eldridge and her companion Bill Medeiros all of New Bedford, along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, 4:00 to 6:00PM in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford with a funeral service at 6:00PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
