Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Clarence F. and Lillian G. (Thomson) Turner she was a lifelong area resident and a former winter resident of Lithia, FL.
Ms. Allen was a former active member of the First Congregational Church at Lunds Corner where she was a deaconess and attended Bible Study. She worked years ago at Rodney Metals where she packed venetian blinds for 18 years. Most of her life she stayed at home as a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing piano, sailing, cooking, and sewing. Kathy always cherished memories of her late poodle, Gigi, and her Himalayan cat, Mariah.
She is survived by her children, Bonny L. Paiva and her companion Dennis Sylvia of New Bedford, Clinton E. Allen and his wife Rhonda of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Jonathan D. Paiva and his wife Farrah, Casey C. Allen and his wife Meagan, Andrew Baptiste, Rebecca Cardoso and her husband Steven, and Kelly Lygren and her husband Tim; great grandchildren, Lola, Amelia, Lily, Scarlett, and Grayson; and one nephew, Richard Turner. She was the sister of the late Florence Davis and Richard Turner.
