Khatchik "Achie" M. Karayan

KARAYAN, Khatchik "Achie" 59, of New Bedford, MA passed away at his home on Saturday September 30, 2023. He was married to his loving wife Grace Karayan (Farias) for the last 11 years. He was the loving son to the late Mesrop Karayan, and son to Takouhi Karayan.

Achie grew up in Worcester, MA. He enjoyed casino trips with his family and friends, and fishing when he could. He most of all loved spending time with his family and extended family.

In addition to his wife, Grace of New Bedford, he is survived by his daughter Dina Guzman, his sister Sylvia Karayan both of CT, his nephews; Rafi, Ara (Katrina), Tavid (Katey), and Randal (Tiffany), his 3 great nieces; Brynlee, Olivia, and Joy. A great nephew; Koby. All of CT. His step-children; Graci Lynch (Oliver) of Australia, Christie Jones (Danny Webb) of Assonet, MA; Kimberly Adams (Trevor) of NC, Katherine Walker (Eric) of Marblehead, MA, Brittany Jones of Dartmouth, Kellie Jones (Cory Langway) of New Bedford, Nicholas Robinson of Rochester, MA, and Christopher Robinson of Rochester, Ma. Papa to his grandchildren; Jackson Tagger, Jordan Tagger, Trinity Webb, Bruce Lima III, Benjamin Lima, Braydon Lima, Hailee Adams, Finn Walker, and Caylum Langway.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 21st, 5:30 pm at Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave. New Bedford, MA. Burial is private.
