

Born in Gazoros, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Demetrios Kiosses and Panagiota (Kouklidou) Kiosse. Ligeri grew up in Greece before moving to the United States in 1981. She was a devoted member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Dartmouth.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her cherished children, Froso Psichopaidas of New Bedford and Christos Tsambazis of New Bedford; her adored grandchildren, Christos and Dimitri Psichopaidas, who were the absolute lights of her life; and her loving siblings, Effie Gagalis and George Kiosses of Germany, along with many nieces and nephews.
Ligeri’s greatest joys in life were her family and friends. She loved cooking delicious meals for her grandchildren, creating memories around the table, and sharing her treasured recipes. She also found happiness in visiting her hometown in Greece as often as possible, staying deeply connected to her roots and heritage.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 186 Cross Road, Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ashley Boulevard, New Bedford.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 AM in the church.
