

Lorraine T. (Tremblay) Desrosiers, age 86, of New Bedford died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 3, 2015 after a long illness. She was the widow of the late Leo H. Desrosiers.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late George and Rose Alma (Despres) Tremblay. She was a stitcher at States Nightware for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Foxwoods, and spending time with her family, which was most important in her life.
She is survived by her five children, Donald Desrosiers and his wife Debra of New Bedford, Bobby Desrosiers and his wife Lina of New Bedford, Roger Desrosiers and his wife Stephanie of North Dartmouth, Annette Rose Desrosiers and Pauline Desrosiers of New Bedford. She is also survived by five grandchildren Lisa, Jessica, Jonathan, Christopher and Rebecca Desrosiers and one great-granddaughter Madison Milosek. She was pre-deceased by two brothers Norman and Wilfred Tremblay.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5-8 pm in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA. Her funeral will be Tuesday at 8:30 am from the Rock Funeral Home followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 am in St. Mary’s Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford.
