Robert J. Crowley, Jr., age 31, of Acushnet, had his soul leave this earth to a more peaceful place. He was born on a beautiful summer day in June 1985 to loving parents Robert and Aline (Breton) Crowley of Acushnet.
A graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 2003, he was currently employed at Reinhart Food Service. Rob was a lifelong Acushnet Townie, who loved where he was from. He was a Red Sox and Patriots fan who loved watching movies and had a passion for automobiles, especially Honda’s and Sports Cars.
Rob was a kind and generous soul with a beautiful smile and a twinkle in his eye. He loved to have a good time.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Matthew Crowley of RI; three aunts, Ann Marie Mullen and her husband William of Somerset, Suzanne O’Connell and her husband James of Fall River and LuAnn Sullivan and her husband Michael of New Bedford; an uncle, James Breton and his fiancée Lucille Patterson of Tiverton; godparents, John and Betty Hardro of Rehoboth; a loving girlfriend, Samantha Davignon of Fairhaven; his two dogs, Bruno and Diego and many cousins. He was grandson of the late John and Barbara Crowley, Gerald and Josephine Boyle and Richard and Louise Breton, and nephew of the late Donna Jackson, Richard T. Hall, Sgt. Russell G. Smith, who perished in the Gulf War, and Glen Crowley, who perished on the FV-Northern Edge.
His Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 10AM at St. Mary’s Church, 440 Main St., Fairhaven. Burial private.
