Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Helen (Sylvester) DeCosta and the late Albert DeCosta Jr. She lived most of her life in Acushnet.
Mrs. Blais was a graduate of New Bedford High School class of 1974 and Kinyon Campbell Business School class of 1978.
Victoria enjoyed spending time at the beach and reading, especially Stephen King and Dean Koontz novels. She was especially fond of cats and cherished Kitty Kitty and Pepper.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah J. (Blais) Klatt and husband Timothy of Dartmouth; her brother, William DeCosta of Freetown; and her former husband Joseph Blais also of Acushnet. She was also the sister of the late Gerald DeCosta.
