

Born in New Bedford, a son of the late George and Pauline (Kilik) Morrissette he was a lifelong area resident and a communicant of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Walter worked as a machine operator at Chamberlain Manufacturing. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports including the New England Patriots, going for walks, and telling jokes.
He is survived by his dear friend, Wendy Sherman of Lakeville; a daughter, Kimberly (Morrissette) Arquette of OH, a sister, Dorothea “Dot” Swain and her husband Larry of Fairhaven; a niece, Christina Martin and her husband Adam; a nephew, Kevin Swain; and friend Ronald Perry of Estero, FL. He was the brother of the late Agnes Morrissette and Robert Morrissette.
