

TRENT WOODS – Aaron Leroy Heath, 79, of Trent Woods, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2018, at CarolinaEast Medical Center with his family by his side. He loved his family and enjoyed fellowshipping with his brothers and sisters in Christ at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Aaron proudly served in the North Carolina Army National Guard from 1956 – 1968 and retired from Texas Gulf Sulphur Plant after 35 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Berne Lodge No. 724 and the Sudan Temple. Aaron always enjoyed spending time in his garage tinkering on odds and ends to create his own masterpieces. He was passionate about coin collecting, fishing, and camping with his wife.
He is survived by his wife Violet Heath and two children, Donald Heath, wife, Theresa and Terry Heath Dixon, husband Carl, his mother, Lela Mae Heath and four grandchildren, Blair Heath Ormond, husband Chris, Taylor Heath, Danielle Dixon, and Heather Dixon. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond B. Heath.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home. Burial, with military honors and masonic rites will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Flowers or donations to Tabernacle Baptist Church are appreciated by the family.
