Albert Jiminez Galindo, 93, of New Bern, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15th, 2018. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and Marine Corps who served during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, retiring with 29 years of service.
He is survived by his two sons, David M. Galindo and Daniel M. Galindo and wife, Deborah, who was like a daughter to him; two brothers, Emilio Galindo (Lucy) and Octavio Galindo (Shirleen); one sister, Gloria Bonilla; six grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cuca Galindo, whom he loved dearly for almost 60 years.
Funeral Mass will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 20th at Saint Paul Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
