He attended Branch Chapel FWB Church and retired from the state with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Jane White; sons, Danny White of Los Angeles, CA and Rodney Daugherty of Dover; Daughter, Gwen Jones of Vanceboro; brother, Anthony White of Clayton; sisters, Carol Dillard of Myrtle Beach, SC and Linda Kamp of Salsbury; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren .
A visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 at Cotten Funeral Home from1:30 to 2:30pm followed by a Funeral service at 3:00pm.Burial will be in Cove City Cemetery.
