She is survived by her husband of 67 years Marvin E. Waters; son Marvin E. Waters, II of Pinehurst; daughter Crystal Taylor and husband (Buddy) of New Bern; two grandchildren Lindsay Waters and Hunter Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Religious Community Services.
