He was a radar and missile instructor in the U.S. Army and a member of the Doric Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Ola W. Croce, one son, Jim Croce of Coats, NC; one daughter, Toni Rose of Rocky Mount, NC; one sister, Belle Mikluscak of Brownsville, PA; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at New Bern Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Cotten Funeral Home.
