Barbara Connelly 92, of New Bern died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Riverpoint Crest nursing facility. She is preceded in death by her husband Peter Connelly. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Arcello (Louis) of Mt Vernon, New York and her son John Connelly (Mary) of New Bern as well as her grandchildren Tricia Coricelli (Jason), Peter “P.J.” Connelly, Evan Connelly and her great granddaughter Abby Coricelli.
Just as she had prayed for years, passed away peacefully in her sleep. The family was blessed to be able to spend her last two days together.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 14, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm at Cotten Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Saturday 19, 2015 in her home town of Mt Vernon, New York.
