Ben was a precious and cherished son, brother, and uncle. Ben was truly one of the warmest, kindest souls that God ever made. He loved people, was devoted to his family and had a BIG heart. Children loved Ben so much and would gravitate to him the moment he walked in the room. He was a shining star in our lives and was loved by everyone who knew him. Think of him on clear nights as the stars sparkle in the sky and endeavor to be as kind as he was to all living things. His memory and kind heart will be carried on by his family, always.
Ben is survived by his parents, Wayne and Robin Watts of New Bern; sister, Kalyn Sanders of Ft. Mill, SC; brother, Will Adkins of Youngsville; Paternal Grandmother, Fay Whitfield of Hurdle Mills, NC; Grandfather, Charles Herbert "C.H." Puryear of Roxboro, NC; nephews, Connor, Garrett, Leo, and Joules; and niece, Sadrean.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Temple Church in New Bern.
