Bruce McKinnon Meyers, 87, of New Bern, North Carolina passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Bruce was born in Passaic, New Jersey on July 4, 1937 to the late Gabriel and Frances Dunn Meyers.
Thankful for his life and continuing in his memory are his beloved wife of 16+ years June Gay Stuart and his daughter Katherine Brekke and her husband Monty Brekke and their children Johnson, Casey and Ellie. He is also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his four older siblings. Together they were a very loving, close-knit family who shared many wonderful times through the years.
Bruce was a kind and caring person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 6, at Christ Episcopal Church, 320 Pollock St, New Bern, NC 28560.
