She is survived by her husband, Joe Cooper; two sisters; Cindy Gigliano of Wendell and Terri Pope of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, September 6, 2011 at Lakeside Chapel at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 4, 2011 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Martha Aikins,2775 Hwy 55 West, New Bern.
