Carol Bost Ziolkowski, 79, died April 28, 2012 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing Home after a long illness.

Carol was a housewife and a longtime member of the First Methodist Church. Prior to marriage, she worked for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Raleigh.

She was predeceased by her husband, I.P. Ziolkowski, and is survived by her son, Ted Ziolkowski of Havelock, NC. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Sarah Austin and husband Dick McLeish of Hubert, NC; nephew Dr. Steven Austin and wife Dr. Sarah Hall of Cardiff, Wales; niece Amanda Austin and husband Tom Wappell of Healy, Alaska.

Her family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012 at the home at: 101 Hawthorne Court, Havelock, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Newport, with Reverend Eric Linblade officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the First Methodist Church in Havelock.
