Charlie loved spending time with his navy buddies, was an avid golfer, and a NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife Tomomi, his son Nicholas, and his dog Kuma, all of VA Beach; his parents Charles Sr, and Judy Brown, of New Bern; his sister Emily Long and Brother-in-law, Johnny, and two nieces, Kaleigh and Rachel of Newport, NC.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at 2:00pm at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later time.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles’ honor to Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
