Prayers for his wife Angelicarose and the children 

We got together often to discuss the little things in life. We always drank something special and shared a good cigar. 

That smile was infectious and his hugs were incredibly warm.

Charles Tenddell was and will always be my friend and brother in arms. He had a smile and laugh that would rub off on you. I will miss him dearly, our conversation about life politics religion and anything in between with no judgment no negativity just two friends enjoying each other's point of view and time with love and respect for one another.  He always tried to help people seek knowledge and feed his curiosity. Smart,funny and good person you my brother will always be in my heart and my prayers go out to his family he so much loved and spoke off, He was so proud of his children and loved them very much. I know this because it was part of our last conversation together. Be easy brother, may you rest in peace I will see you again one day .



This is my FAV picture of Charles! It represents his warmth,  kindness and desire to break down the barriers amongst the human race.   I admired his tenacity, intelligence, his patience for those closed minded folks and his constant seek of knowledge! 

Charles was a wonderful soul and always wanting to help others. I worked with him at the Call Center where he loved working there. I thought a lot of Charles and he was a great friend to me. I miss him and he was a great person!!

He was a man who served his country and his family well. Charles is a hero. 

It was an honor serving with you Brotha!! You will be missed!! More than you know!! Much Love!!!!

God blessed me to raise,nurture and love this wonderful person for 40 years. I am grateful.
 My son is no longer in pain.  Heaven welcomes a new angel.

This was such a fun day,  as was everyday spent with Charles. He had a blast out on the water fishing,  loved seeing him smile.  On our boat ride back in,  the boat driver became hostile towards me and in typical  Charles fashion,  he intervened by engaging with the boat driver and helped me from not jumping overboard to "safety" and getting us all back safely to shore.  His calm,  gentle soul and infectious laughter will forever be missed.  Go REST High on that Mountain Friend!

We went to a hibachi Restaurant for my Birthday everyone was laughing and having a good time 🕊

He took a photo of one of the moments I was stealing his stuff. 

I had joined ROTC and attended a Fort Bragg field trip. He was so excited when I asked if he wanted to go with me because he had been stationed there. He spent the whole time cheering me on and was so happy when I jumped.

My father and I at my junior prom he was so excited to be there he got all dressed up and was so happy to be apart of it even though I was stressed that entire day but he helped me keep my cool 


I also worked with Charles briefly but as soon as I met him instantly, I could tell he was a kind, soft spoken, gentle and caring person.   I was really looking forward to getting to know him better.   My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I got a picture of him walking. We were taking pictures for Senior graduation for our daughters Amira and Corra.  Amira the senior, and it was also Corra’s first prom (10th grade), she was editor of yearbook. So happy to have had this memory with him in May 2023. 

The places we went ...the things we did... the fun we had... the lessons of life I learned from Charles.   I will miss him and cherish his friendship the rest of my life.  He taught me Grace.

Charles was a soft spoken gentle man who was only with us a short time. I enjoyed our short conversations and looked forward to learning more about security in the future. I pray for strength and blessings for his family.
