Clara Theresa Hoagland

She was born in Lancaster, PA, to the late Frank and Maria Weiss. She was the wife of the late Clyde D. Hoagland, who preceded her in death Feb. 2023, they were married for 74 yrs.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings Marie Reed, Hermine Rhoads, and Robert Weiss.

She is survived by her son Clyde R. Hoagland and wife Brenda of Bath, PA; her daughter Hermine Riddle and husband Gilbert of Greenville, NC; son Michael Hoagland of Macungie, PA; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She loved gardening, growing beautiful flowers, crocheting, baking, and was a big collector of antiques. She loved spending time with her family.

She worked at various jobs in her lifetime, the last being Aries Electronics in Frenchtown, NJ. She retired with her husband to Clearwater, FL in 1990 and in 2016 they moved to Greenville, NC to be near family.

Her interment will be at a later date at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park Mausoleum in Clearwater, FL.
