David Thomas Bennett

David Thomas Bennett, 89, passed away peacefully on November 24th, 2025, surrounded by loving family. He was born on Long Island New York November 2nd, 1936. He was preceded in death by his father Frank, mother Grace, and brother Stanley. Leaving behind to cherish the memories of his life are his wife of 43 years, Diana; sisters Judi Stebel and Betty Moore, daughters Janice Schiano (Tad), Gina Zarowin (Claude); grandchildren Michael Schiano (Kari), Jennifer Dunn (Robert), Leah Schiano Outsen (Bobby), Sara Zarowin; great-grandchildren Joshua Carmona, Corinna Outsen; and special friend of 50 years “Uncle” Max Mascia (Pam).

Dave lived a full life, leaving lasting impressions on those he encountered. He modeled a hard-working ethic, a determination to succeed in all that was possible, often admired for the gifts he shared with others to help them along. On the golf course, Dave developed many close friendships that he treasured. He shared his unusual wit and sense of humor freely, and a helping hand to whoever needed it.
