David Farrington Britt

David is survived by his three daughters, Sharon Britt Lewis of Emerald Isle, NC, Carol Britt Bryant of Centenial, CO, and Janet Britt Sweeney of Beaufort, NC; six grandchildren, Tracey, Todd, Owen, Megan, Cassie, and Lauren; and eight great-grandchildren, Brad, Victoria, Brooklynn, Hayden, Sydney, Brooklyn, Jackson, and Mason.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Teresa Faughnan Britt.

David was a proud veteran of the Unites States Marine Corps, served for the New Rochelle (NY) Police Dept. for 20 years, and worked with the Westchester Federal Savings Bank. During their time together, Mr. and Mrs. Britt enjoyed over 30 years of retirement spending their time playing golf, traveling, and making new friends.

The family will hold a visitation celebrating his life on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 1pm-2pm at Cotten Funeral Home.
