He is survived by his wife, Susan, of 54 years; his children, Craig, Christa, Carly, Courtney, and Caitlyn; and his grandchildren, Craig Jr., Ellie, Campbell, and Crosby Cate.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, on Saturday, April 18 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association at alsa.org.
The family is grateful for the support of their community, Craven County Hospice, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
