Edward George Kobylarz

Ed graduated from high school in 1947 in Garfield, NJ. Edward served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954. In 1956 he married Edith Best. In 1958 Ed began working for the Ford Motor Company, Alcoa Alumin, Sears, and B&G in Ocean County, NJ and was a technician who was in charge of the buildings and the grounds. Ed was a devoted Lutheran and recently joined St. Paul Lutheran Church in Havelock, NC.

He is survived by two daughters; Susan Dianne Gable and Brenda Lee Jablonski (Chuck), granddaughters; Lara Jackson and Kerri Jablonski, great grandchildren; Kaitlin Willcox and Noah Jackson, sister, Ruth Rabel, several nieces and nephews, many friends and especially his very dear friend, Doris Bitely.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church located at 305 US-70, Havelock, NC 28532 with military honors.
