She was a long time member of Sherwood FWB Church. She is predeceased by her husband, Elmer Earl Mills.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Mills; daughter, Sherry Mills McCoy (Winfred); grandchildren, Lindsay Moye (Trey), Taylor Sparapani (Joe), Maggie Mikolajczzak (Chris), Garrett McCoy (Kayliana) and Grant McCoy (Shelby); great grandchildren, Charlie Ruth, Layla, Mason, Bayker and Scottlynn; many nieces and nephews.
The family is grateful for the loving care received from CarolinaEast Medical Center, Crystal Bluff Rehabilitation Center and Carteret Healthcare.
A visitation for Elva will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sherwood Forest FWB Church, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Greenleaf Memorial Park.
