Leaving behind to honor and cherish her memories and legacy are her son, Al Bannister and his wife, Regina.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Williams, and her daughter-in-law, Marti Bannister.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Evelyn's honor to the Kennedy Children's Home, located at 2557 Cedar Dell Lane, Kinston, NC 28504. Donations can be mailed to this address.
