Harold Lloyd Rand

He was married to his wife, Elizabeth “Betty,” for 67yrs.

Harold was born in Aroostook County, Maine to Wallace & Lucy Rand. He was 1 of 14 children.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1946 - 1949.

He fell in love and married Elizabeth Ehlers in January 1953 and together they had 6 children, Lucy E. Morgans (Bill), both of whom proceeded him in death. His surviving children are Harold Lloyd Jr. (Angela), Gary Phillip (Jill), Kim Marie, Bruce Michael (Denise), Tony Mark (Mary); multiple grandchildren, plus great & great-great grandchildren.

He was a successful businessman throughout the years.

Known by many as a loving husband, father, friend, Harold was fun, loving, outgoing, jokester at times,

yet very dependable, mellow, and soft spoken. Although gone from our lives, Harold loved his wife and family above all.

A Memorial Service for Harold Rand will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 11:00AM at New Hope Friends Church, 4451 US-70 BUS, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

Arrangements are held by Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
