She was preceded by her parents, Charlie Lee Sawyer and Myrtle Gray Sawyer and her daughter, Janet Lynn Diaz Schack.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ricardo (Rick) Diaz, 3 children, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many other family members, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
Helen was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She was spunky, generous and vibrant. She never met a stranger. She loved activities that brought people together.
Her presence will live on within the family and the many people who met her through out her life.
A private celebration of life will be held on December 28 at 1:00.
