I’ve had the pleasure and honor of knowing jim for the past 52 years , since the day I first met him with my beautiful sister Donna.  He was and remains one of the best men I have ever known. Until we meet again, God bless you master chief and smooth sailing. 

Jim was my very first "hero." As his "kid brother" I looked up to him in ways known only to those who grow up with a five-years-older brother. The memories are far too many to share here, so I will share only the most important one. Our "brotherly love" sometimes fell on hard times, because even though we were siblings, we were two very different people. There were long silences, some lasting many years. Then one day, God reached down and removed the wall that separated us, so we could freely talk about old times. That was God's doing, not ours. I have faith that some day we will both have plenty of time to reminisce about the rest of those "good old days." I miss you, Bro.  We all do.
