He is survived by his brother, Richard Panza and wife Esther of Tuscon, AZ; three daughters, Jane Dowe Harper of Havelock, Diana Dowe of Havelock, and Dotty Joyner and husband Paul of Newport. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Kathy Harper of Farmville, Becky Harper of Havelock, and David Joyner of Murfreesboro, TN; and nephew, Michael Panza and wife Keo of Wimauma, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Dowe and daughter, Pat Dowe.
John served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years, including 2 tours of duty in Vietnam.
