Joyce Taylor Daniels

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lonnie Daniels, and several brothers and sisters. Joyce is survived by her sons, Tommy Daniels and his wife Kathy, and Terry Daniels, both of New Bern; her sister, Gail Cramer of Fairfax, VA; two grandchildren, Tammy Guggino and her husband Tommy, and Christopher Daniels and his fiancée Crystal; one great-grandson, Trey Guggino; and many nieces & nephews. She also leaves behind her new friend, Kathy Young, with whom she shared a special bond at Grantsbrook Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Grantsboro.

Joyce was a longtime member of Sherwood Forest Free Will Baptist Church. She had a deep love for cooking, and her family especially cherished her homemade pecan pie and chicken and pastry.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
