Kevin is survived by his mother, Ruth M. Bland of Pollocksville; father, William Thomas Bland of Minnesott Beach; aunt, Susan Morton Jenkins (Eddie); uncles, William "Bill" Donald Morton and Edwin Forrest Morton (Diane); and Paternal grandmother, Louise Reel of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruth and Dalton Morton, Sr. and paternal grandfather, Elton D. Reel; and an uncle, Luther Dalton Morton, Jr.
A private burial will be held at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
