

Lois was a devout Christian who truly loved the Lord with all of her heart. During her career, Lois was a bookkeeper. When she was not working or taking care of her family, she enjoyed sewing, going to the beach, and attending Parkview Baptist Church in Morehead City.
She is survived by her daughters, Annie Thurman and husband, Jason, and Deborah Dodge and husband, Frank; grandchildren, Mariah Davis and husband Christopher, Emilee Thurman, and Taeler Godby; great-grandchild, Raelynn Davis; brother, Gerald Taylor and wife, Kathy; and many loving family and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James "Joe" Moore, III; four brothers; and four sisters.
A Celebration of Lois' Life will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors following the service.
