Louise Owens

Louise loved the Lord and served Him daily. She married the love of her life, Carroll Owens, on March 17, 1956. Together they created a beautiful family. Louise adored her family and would do anything for them, even taking care of them when they were not feeling well. Every Friday Louise would spend time with her girls eating lunch, shopping, and getting her hair done. When time would allow, Louise and her girls would take many road trips. Every Sunday Louise would enjoy spending time with Mike. They would cook, laugh, watch tv, and greatly enjoyed their time together. Louise loved to cook and bake, and the family greatly enjoyed receiving a special birthday cake made by Louise, of course their favorite cake. All who knew and loved Louise will greatly miss her.

Louise is survived by her children, Michael Owens, Carolyn Cade (Sonny), Donna Jenkins (Johnnie), and Lisa Cowan (Tommy); grandchildren, Ashley Wiggins, Bradley Jenkins, Gregory Owens, Jr., Jennifer Sikes, Melissa McLamb, Tommy Dunn IV, Heather Conrad, Krystal Vankemseke, Miranda Ipock, Reuben Cade III, and Haley Caroon; 21 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Johnnie Owens; brothers, Keith Tyson and Billy Tyson; and many loving family members and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Carroll Owens; her son, Gregory Carroll Owens, Sr.; brother, Gary Tyson; and sister, Donna Wallace.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home. A Celebration of Louise's Life will begin at 1:00 PM the service with Rev. Rex Bennett officiating the service.
