Mary "Linda' Wilson Gadomski

She was a 3rd grade teacher for 31 years in Craven County, Graduated from ECU with honors, devoted wife for 52 years, loving mother, special grandma, and great friend to many. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church in Jasper. Mary loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved her family, the outdoors, gardening, playing the piano, and cooking was one of her specialties. Her most prized possessions were her grandchildren which were what kept her motivated in her later years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Kernade Wilson and Berta Bratcher Wilson; baby brother; and husband Edward Charles Gadomski.

Mary is survived by her sister Carolyn Wilson Odham and husband James of New Bern; her two daughters, Mary Gadomski Bantos and husband Chris, and Connie Cherry and husband Dallas, all of New Bern; and grandchildren Hunter and Gage Bantos, Jessie Lynn Braxton Coward and Austin Cherry.

A funeral service will be held for Mary at Bethany Christian Church Sunday, July 31, at 2 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow the service at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
