Misty Echelle Hartley, 45, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019. Misty was kind, caring and generous, sometimes to a fault. She was quite intelligent and a very gifted organizer. Misty graduated from Craven Community College in 2000 with degrees in Business Administration and Marketing.
Misty leaves behind five children, Jordan Paige Daughety, Mallory Elizabeth Daughety, Nathan Andrew Sly, Connor Wayne Sly, and Geri Echelle Sly; children of the heart, Tyler Sly, Brittany Schoepf, Ciara Sly, and McKenna Sly; her mother, Nancy Hartley; and sister, Kelli Hartley Toler.
Sadly, she was preceded in death by her father, Willie Hilton Hartley and two brothers, Garrick Hilton Hartley and Jeffri Hylton Hartley.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, January 4th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1207 Forest Drive, New Bern. Funeral service will follow the time of visitation, beginning at 12:00 p.m. She will then be laid to rest at the Hartley Family Cemetery.
