Patricia Anne Norris

Patricia was born to the late Edna and Earl Edwards on November 3, 1941. She is predeceased by her husband, Harvey B. (Shute) Norris, Sr. of Rhems, NC and her brother, Joseph Lewis Edwards of Holly Ridge, NC.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa N. White (Cisco) of Ernul, NC, sons, Harvey B. Norris, Jr. of Raleigh, NC and Jeffrey L. Norris and partner Billy Tyndall of Burgaw, NC, grandchildren, Shannon Mackey (Chris) of Arapahoe, NC, Frank Cisco White of Ernul, NC, six great-grandchildren, Jordan White of New Bern, NC, Hayley White of Ernul, NC Madison Edwards of Bayboro, NC, Emily Edwards of Lowland, NC, McKenzie Edwards of Arapahoe, NC and Emberleigh Mackey of Arapahoe, NC, six great-great grandchildren, and the seventh due this December. She is also survived by longtime friend, Peggy Cherveny of Gretna, Nebraska.

Patricia was a great southern cook, and meals were enjoyed by all who sat at her table. She enjoyed watching the hummingbirds from her bedroom window where she spent most of her time in her later years. She was a collector of dolls, Gone with the Wind Figurines and a keeper of anything she was given.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and Nana and deeply loved. She will be sorely missed by her family.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers for their care through the years.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Cotten Funeral Home. A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Angel Lorton officiating. Following the service, Patricia will be laid to rest at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
