Often times you could find Patsy watching and feeding the birds. She had a true love for them. When she was not feeding the birds, Patsy would be cleaning house. She took pride in having a clean home. Patsy had a heart of gold and would willingly hold and love any baby that she could get her hands on. One thing that Patsy had was a contagious laugh. Anyone who knew Patsy, was honored and will greatly miss her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Douglas Hardison; daughter, Patty Dunn and husband, Rodney "Bubba"; grandchildren, Amanda Jessee and Mallory Jessee; step-grandchildren, Lynda Long and husband, Brandon, and Jeremy Dunn and wife, Earline; great-grandchildren, Dameon Hatstat, Camden Jessee (of the home), and Bodhi Willis; seven step-great-grandchildren; dear friends, Zelma Willis and the late, Gerald; and many friends who loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her two brothers and five sisters.
A service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeside Chapel at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Pastor Rusty Willis, a close and dear friend of the family, will be officiating the service.
Cotten Funeral Home is honored to serve the family and friends of Patsy Hartley Hardison.
