Peter was retired from the British Royal AirForce and Rolls Royce. He was a member of the Black Beard Sailing Club.
He is survived by his son Tim Moore of Seattle, WA; daughter Fiona Moore of New Bern; sister Sheila Mundy of Dayton, OH; and grandson, Tony Moore.
A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
